  • Masataka Taketsuru, seen widely as the father of Japanese Whisky (founded Nikka after a stint in Scotland in 1934)

  • First distillery was built in Yoichi

  • Mainly distilled with corn

Nose: Pear, Cherry, Exotic Fruit, Citrus, Vanilla

Taste: Juicy & Creamy, Caramel, Star Anise

Best Served: Neat
